I REGRET
Head crowned with a crown,
a head full of severe wounds,
on which is a tangle of thorns,
which is his Lord
crowned the sinful world.
About the forehead from which it flows
painful and bloody sweat,
what torments do you suffer
my dear Lord.
You were whipped,
you carried the heavy cross,
on which they will crucify you,
all these people are evil.
They pierced your arms and legs,
you are crucified alive,
about how they could do all this,
because you were not guilty of anything.
And after all that torment,
you ended up drinking bile,
you ended then,
to this unfaithful people,
from the gates of heaven secured the key.
I regret all that,
I repent with my soul,
have mercy Jesus dear,
have mercy on this people with evil.
